I've read a number of Linwood Barclay's books and once again I was quickly absorbed in the story, reading it in pretty much one sitting. I really liked his protagonist, the poor bewildered Tim Blake who is trying to find his missing daughter. Tim is a second hand car salesman with an ex wife and a broken business behind him. He's nicely believable, and when the plot becomes a little wild towards the end, I was so hooked in the story I simply galloped along, enjoying the ride. Like all of Barclay's books it's a great holiday read, really entertaining.

A fantastic page turning journey of fear, suspense and hope!I have yet to be disappointed by this writer. Fear The Worst kept me hooked from the opening chapter and I've enjoyed every single page. Barclay's, A Tap On The Window is my next read. Can't wait to get started.

Not his best , it only started to get interesting half way through, having been a little disappointed with this read it will not stop me purchasing other books by Linwood Barclay as past reads by this author have been very good
