This is the comprehensive rock climbing guidebook covering the Valsesia area near Borgosesia in northwest Italy. Situated between Borgosesia and Alagne are a number of small valleys where there are many bolted rock climbing areas. The vast majority of the routes are single pitch sport routes though there are also bolted multi-pitch sport routes up to 200m long. The guidebook is split into 4 main areas, which are Bassa Valsesia, Varallo e Valmastallone, Val Sermenza, and Val Grande - Alta Valsesia. In total there are 43 crags and over 400 routes from F4a to F8b+. All the routes are shown on either colour photo topos or colour hand drawn topos. At the start of each crag there is a location map and access information. Symbols then indicate atlitude of the crag, its orientation, how good the bolting is, its popularity, and approach time to the crag. A QR code is given for the parking area. A chart then states the number of routes across each grade. Published in June 2015 this guidebook is in Italian text throughout but a large amount of information is conveyed by symbols. Number of pages is 192. Size is 150mm x 210mm (A5).
