Brilliant & touching

Loved it. Very touching, heart warming book. Made me laugh out loud one minute and cry my eyes out the next. The characters are so believable and you care about them passionately. The Blythe family are beautiful and Dog Mondays devotion to Jem in WW1 made me cry non stop. Couldn't put it down. Humorous & heart breaking. What a writer!

Lovely warm reading.

I never read any of these books when I was younger, so I'm sorta catching up. They're lovely stories, very atmospheric of the old days in early America country folks, and quite heartwarming. The characters are warm and real, and you find you get swept into their lives. Lovely nostalgia reading.

Anne's a right little madame

I absolutely love the book, it's very funny. I'm right in the middle and just can't wait till I have time to read more.would certainly recommend it.
